Cup Profile

El Salvador - Finca San Antonio is a delightful balance of sweetness, florals, and richness. The first sip reveals juicy stone fruit notes reminiscent of nectarine, bringing a vibrant and refreshing fruitiness. This is complemented by delicate hint of rose, adding a subtle floral elegance to the cup. As the flavors settle, a smooth milk chocolate finish provides depth and a satisfying creaminess. Together, these tasting notes create a harmonious and memorable coffee experience, perfect for those who enjoy both complexity and balance in their brew.

About the Producer

Established in 1890, Finca San Antonio is a historic family-owned farm in the Ilamatepec Mountain Range of El Salvador. Now under the stewardship of the fifth generation, Miguel Angel Villavicencio began MAV Coffee with the intention of rejuvenating the farm by introducing resilient Sarchimor coffee varieties and implementing sustainable farming practices. Miguel's commitment to quality and respect for the land are evident in the fruits of his labor.

FreeForm is pleased to be among the first roasters in the United States to offer MAV Coffee, sourced directly through Algrano, an online platform that connects coffee producers with roasters.

Natural Processing

This coffee undergoes a natural (sun-dried) process, which highlights inherent sweetness and fruity characteristics, while enhancing the smooth body . Ripe cherries are carefully selected and dried under the sun, allowing the beans to absorb the fruit’s natural sugars. The result is a vibrant and flavorful cup, very drinkable, but with enough complexity to keep you on your toes.
