About the Coffee

This fully washed lot features Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuai varieties grown at high elevations between 1700–2100 meters in the cool, cloud-covered mountains of Todos Santos Cuchumatán, Huehuetenango, Guatemala. The result is a beautifully balanced coffee with a medium-light body and excellent clarity.

In the cup, you’ll find flavors of milk chocolate and praline, with a touch of orange peel adding brightness. As the coffee cools, subtler notes of raspberry and raisin emerge, giving it a layered sweetness and a clean, satisfying finish. It’s a dependable daily drinker—easy to enjoy, with a quiet complexity that rewards attention.

Meet the Producer

Ella: Todos Santos is grown by Mujeres Luchando por un Mejor Futuro—a collective of 276 women farmers who are transforming their remote community in Todos Santos Cuchumatán. In a region where many men have left for work in the U.S., these women have stepped up to lead both at home and on the farm.

Over the last decade, they’ve built a grassroots farming association focused on economic empowerment, education, and environmental sustainability. With support from export partner K-Finos and outside collaborators, the group now benefits from expert agronomy consultation, varietal and soil health training, and continuing education in coffee processing.

Their achievements include earning organic certification, establishing a community fund to support each other’s projects, and expanding into agricultural diversification with crops like tomatoes, beans, and corn. Through shared knowledge, mutual support, and a commitment to excellence, these women are building a better future—one harvest at a time.

This coffee is the product of their dedication: honest, grounded, and full of character.
